Moda Midstream

Moda Midstream is a liquids terminaling and logistics company that provides independent terminal, storage and distribution solutions to refiners, petrochemical manufacturers, marketers and producers of crude oil, condensate, NGLs, refined products and other bulk liquids. Moda concentrates on providing safe, reliable solutions to third parties on a first-come-first-served basis. We believe that every customer is important and deserves fairness, honesty and transparency.

In August 2018 Moda announced the acquisition of the Ingleside Energy Center (MIEC) and crude oil and LPG infrastructure from Occidental Petroleum Corporation. MIEC is a storage and export terminal that provides access to global markets for crude oil and LPG producers and marketers. In just three years, the Moda team grew the facility into the largest crude oil export terminal in the U.S. In October, Moda closed on the sale of MIEC and related assets to Enbridge, the largest publicly traded midstream company in North America, for $3 billion in cash — the largest exit in EFM's history. Moda continues to develop Vopak Moda Houston, a storage and terminaling facility on the Houston Ship Channel capable of handling petrochemical and LPG feedstocks at its rail loop and deepwater dock.

Moda is led by a highly experienced management team. Its members have a long and successful history of working together in the terminaling industry. Prior to forming Moda, co-founders Bo McCall and Jon Ackerman worked together as members of the executive team at Oiltanking North America and its publicly traded affiliate Oiltanking Partners, L.P.
