The Caballo management team has extensive experience providing gathering and processing services to producers in the midcontinent region. Through this experience members of the management team have developed strong relationships with both major and small producers who have been active in the area. They understand the capabilities and limitations of the existing midstream service providers and will utilize that knowledge to offer improved midstream services.

Caballo's growth strategy is to work with producers to either build out greenfield gathering and processing systems or to acquire producer-owned systems and expand that business to gather third-party gas, providing better economics to producers through value-added services including improved gas and liquids markets, fuel-efficient compression and processing and timely connection of wells. This will also create opportunities to acquire assets for consolidation purposes. Caballo will focus its operations in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, but may find additional opportunities in emerging shale plays from producers who know its capabilities.
