Managing DirectorMr. Wiggs’ responsibilities at EnCap Flatrock include the origination of new investment opportunities and coordination of major commercial and investment activities with our portfolio companies. He brings a strong record of creating value and growth. Prior to joining EnCap Flatrock, he served for three years as President and CEO of DFW Midstream Services, a natural gas gathering company focused on the Barnett Shale and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Within three years of starting the company in 2008, Mr. Wiggs built a gathering system with more than 80 miles of large and small diameter pipe and approximately 50,000 horsepower of compression in a dense urban environment. Previously, Mr. Wiggs served as President and General Manager of Bolivia’s principal oil and gas pipeline company, Transredes SA, and President and CEO of the Cuiaba Integrated Power Project, a power plant and gas pipeline project located in western Brazil. Mr. Wiggs has held various business development and management positions at Enron and Texas Utilities (TXU, now Energy Future Holdings, owners of Oncor Electric Delivery, Luminart and TXU Energy which serve the Texas electricity market).
Prior to starting his business career, Mr. Wiggs served as an artillery officer in the U.S. Army. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas.
